Lodge Craigielea - No.1218 on The Roll of the Grand Lodge of Scotland.I would like to thank the brethren of lodge Craigielea and all visiting brethren who attended my installation on Fri 14th Oct 2011,
the turnout surprised and delighted me, making it a night to remember !!
A special thankyou to my Installing Masters Bro Gordon McGill PM and Bro Jim McCormack PM who were amazing.

The Brethren of Lodge Craigielea would like to congratulate Brother George Cook P.M on receiving his Jewell and Certificate from Grand Lodge marking his 50 years in the Craft. Bro. George was initiated to Lodge Craigielea in December 1960 and became master of the Lodge in 1978.
George and family moved to Australia, some years ago, where he continued his Masonic career, becoming a member of Lodge Robbie Burns 860, now Lodge St.James 860. He is currently the Lodge Tyler and well renowned for his eloquent delivery of ritual work.
Past Master Brother George C. Hill was presented with a diploma marking his 50 years of service to Lodge Craigielea and the Craft in general, following this evenings degree, by Provincial Grand Master of Renfrewshire East, Brother David Reid.
The Brethren of Lodge Craigielea would like to acknowledge and thank Brother George for his work in Lodge Craigielea as the Lodge Almoner, an Office he has filled for many years, the input he provides at the instruction classes and his floor work.

Just a few words to say thanks to all the bretheren of Lodge Craigielea and visitors for making my year so far a most memorable one. A special thanks to my 2 wardens who have supported me from day 1, Jim McCormack Jr PM , who has stood in at every meeting as WJW and Barry Dempster WSW, who has done an outstanding job. I would like to add my thanks to all those who attended our Annual Dance on the 22nd May. It was a great success. I hope all the bretheren of Lodge Craigielea have a great summer and hope to see you all back and recharged in the Autumn.

The annual dinner dance has been booked for 22nd May 2010 at Anchor Bowling Club at 6.30 pm. We will be joined by visiting brethren from Lodge St. Clements from Aberdeen, who will also be conferring an Entered Apprentice degree at the Temple on the same afternoon.
