A recent communication from the Grand Lodge of Scotland stated the following:

On Monday morning, 10th August, a meeting of the Heads of Orders took place to discuss a united
approach to reopening Lodge buildings and the commencement of meetings in all Orders. It has been
unanimously agreed that no meetings will take place in Scotland during the remainder of this year and
that the position will be reviewed early in January 2021.

So, there you have it. No more meetings this year.

It has been agreed with the Grand Lodge of Scotland that our Centenary celebrations, due to go ahead on Saturday 13th June, be rescheduled for Saturday 7th November 2020.

The rededication ceremony will go ahead as planned but it will instead be followed with a less formal Harmony in the bar in Maxwellton Rd, rather than the planned formal meal in Ferguslie BC.

This may be subject to change again given the current lockdown that is still being imposed.

50 year Jewels for two PM's

Submitted by admin on 10/12/2019 - 19:32

The Right Worshipful Master, Bro Thomas Love had the pleasure of presenting two Past Masters of the Lodge with Jewels to mark 50 years in the Craft each.

Bro John Beith PM and Bro William Stevenson PM were in the Chair in 1977 and 1978 respectively and have served the Lodge well since they became members all those years ago. Bro Stevenson will be due his 60th Jewel and diploma soon as he was a bit late in receiving his 50th, but better late than never as they say.

I would like to thank all the Brethren who attended our Annual Installation on Friday 11th October, more particularly the visiting brethren including the Brethren from Lodge St.Clement No.688 in Aberdeen who travelled some distance in order to attend.

I was overwhelmed with the attendance on the evening and hope to visit as many of the Lodges represented as I can during my year as Master.
