On the 13th May 2016, we visited our good friends at Lodge Chichester 313 over in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland.
Sadly, Brother George Cook has passed to the Grand Lodge above. George joined Lodge Craigielea in 1960 and was RWM in 1978.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the Brethren who attended our Annual Installation, particularly those who travelled some distance from Aberdeen and Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland to support us. I was overwhelmed with the attendance on the evening and hope to visit as many of the lodges represented as I can during my year as Master.
I would like to thank all Office Bearers and Brethren of Lodge Craigielea for the support offered to me during my term in the Chair, over the last twelve months. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have been RWM of my Mother Lodge and enjoyed my year very much. I would also like to thank all the visitors who supported us at all our regular and social meetings and look forward to meeting you all again soon.
A special meeting was held on the 30th May 2015, when we had the pleasure of receiving a visitation of Brethren from Northern Ireland. On this occasion we conferred an exemplification of an E.A degree, in order that the brethren from the Irish Constitution could witness how it is done under the Scottish Constitution and by Lodge Craigielea.
After the meeting there was an excellent dinner and harmony in the lounge and I would personally like to thank all who attended, more especially the brethren in our social committee who made the day a great success.
Many thanks to the RWM and Brethren of Lodge Wallace St. Hugh, Crosshill, number 1212 on the Roll of the Grand Lodge of Scotland for hosting this years meeting and being excellent hosts.
All the visitors had the pleasure of witnessing an E.A degree being conferred on the latest member of the Lodge Wallace St.Hugh and the representative of each of the Chartered Lodges present received a very kind gift on behalf of their Mother lodge, to mark the occasion.
